The fastest camera and the smoothest scan loop. Installed from the download above, not from the Play Store, so Android asks once to allow it.

- 3Open the app, sign in with your organizer or staff account, and pick the event.

Web scanner
iPhone · iPad · Android · desktop
No download and nothing to approve: the check-in page of your event is itself an installable web app. Added to the home screen it opens full screen with one tap and keeps its own offline queue.
Where it is
- 1On the device you will scan with, sign in and open Organizer → your event → Check-in.
- 2Scroll to the end of the check-in page: the install steps for your device are there, with an Install scanner button where the browser offers one.
- 3Door staff on the event team see the same page and install it on their own phones.
Install it on the device at the door
The steps differ per platform because only some browsers offer an install button. All three end with the scanner on the home screen.
iPhone & iPad
Safari only- 1Open the check-in page in Safari (other browsers cannot install on iOS).
- 2Tap the Share button in the toolbar.
- 3Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- 4Open it from the home screen and allow the camera on the first scan.
Needs iOS 16.4 or newer - earlier versions have no camera inside installed web apps.
Android
Chrome- 1Open the check-in page in Chrome.
- 2Tap Install scanner at the end of the page, or the browser menu (⋮) → Install app.
- 3Confirm Install, then open it from the home screen.
Prefer the native app above for the fastest camera; both share the same offline queue.
Desktop
Chrome, Edge- 1Open the check-in page.
- 2Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or the browser menu → Install EventMann Scanner.
- 3It opens in its own window.
Useful at a registration desk; a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works as a keyboard.
Built for a queue, not a demo
Everything the door needs is one tap away, and nothing depends on the venue Wi-Fi.
Verdict first
A full-screen green or red result with the reason - already scanned, wrong day, refunded - readable from arm's length.
Offline queue
Scans made without a connection are stored on the device and synced as soon as it is back. On iOS only an installed app keeps that queue safe.
Check-out & re-entry
Mark a guest out and back in; the live counts follow, so capacity is what is actually inside.
Search, not only scan
Find an order by name, email or reference when the phone is dead or the mail never arrived.
The installed web scanner contains the check-in page only. Other pages, and signing in again if the session ends, open in the browser. Scanning is gated per event: an account sees the events it may check in for, not the whole platform.
