Free events are genuinely free

"Free for free events" is a common claim in ticketing, and it usually has a number attached to it somewhere — free for the first few hundred tickets a year, or free provided you are on a paid plan.

Ours has no asterisk

If your event does not charge for tickets, EventMann does not charge you. There is no annual quota, no per-ticket fee once you pass a threshold, and no subscription required to unlock it. A community group issuing 5,000 free tickets pays exactly what one issuing 50 pays: nothing.

You still get the whole product

Free events are not a reduced tier. You get seat maps, team roles, check-in, attendee messaging, analytics and exports — the same as any paid event. There is no feature you have to upgrade to reach.

Why we do it this way

Free events are how most organizers try a platform, and how a great many community events run permanently. Metering them would mean the smallest organizers subsidise the tooling, which is backwards.

You only need a connected Stripe account when you start charging. Until then you can publish and run events without one.
