Sponsor guide

This walks you through creating a sponsor account and reaching the point where you can send your first application. The account is free — you only pay when an organizer approves a specific sponsorship and sends you an invoice for it. Sponsors work in their own portal, which opens at Sponsor Portal after you sign in.

What you can do here

• Browse Packages — every published event that has at least one active sponsorship package, one card per event.
• Apply — choose a package, describe your company and agree to the terms. The organizer approves or rejects the application.
• My Sponsorships — every application you have made, with its status, payment details, logo, deliverable progress and a message thread with the organizer.
• Event Analytics, Engagement Analytics and Export Report — the figures EventMann measures for the events you sponsor: tickets sold, orders and attendee cities.

Create your sponsor account

1. Open the For Sponsors page and choose to register as a sponsor. The form asks for your Name ①, Email, Country ② and a Password ③ (entered twice). You can also sign up with Google, Facebook or LinkedIn instead.
2. Pick the country where your business is registered. The form says this cannot be changed later, and only countries EventMann currently works in are offered.
3. Click Create sponsor account ④. You are signed in straight away and land on a short setup checklist.
4. Complete the two required checklist steps — your profile and your company details (the short text under My Profile). A violet bar at the top of every page shows the next step until both are done.

Good to know

• There is no separate sponsor profile page with a logo, industry or budget. Your company name, website and tagline are entered with each application, and the form is pre-filled from your previous application so you do not retype them. The logo is uploaded with the application or later from My Sponsorships.
• Your account uses the same My Profile page as every other role: name, email, password and notification preferences. The Sponsorship messages preference controls whether you also get an email when an organizer writes to you or approves an application.
• One login can hold several roles (for example organizer and sponsor). The avatar menu lets you switch between them.
• Creating the account does not publish anything and does not tell any organizer about you. Organizers only see you once you apply.

Troubleshooting

• The country you need is not in the list — EventMann only accepts sign-ups from countries it operates in. The list is not something you can extend from your side.
• The violet setup bar will not go away — it stays until the two required steps are done. The company step is complete as soon as the text on My Profile is filled in.
• You signed in and landed on a different dashboard — your login holds more than one role. Switch to the sponsor role from the avatar menu.

The Sponsor Portal is the first page you see after signing in (Sponsor Portal in the sidebar). It answers three questions at a glance: does anything need my attention, what have I paid for, and how big is the audience at the events I back. There is nothing to configure here — every figure is read from your sponsorships.

What you can do here

• Read eight figure cards for your sponsorships.
• Follow the Onboarding Checklist for your newest approved or active sponsorship, including the payment deadline.
• See your five most recent sponsorships with their status and deliverable progress, and jump to My Sponsorships or the analytics.
• Go to Browse Packages ① to apply for another event.

The figure cards

Card	What it counts
Tickets Sold ②	Tickets on confirmed orders, summed over the events of your Active and Completed sponsorships — the same sponsorships the analytics pages cover.
Orders	Confirmed orders for the same events. One order can contain several tickets.
Attendee Cities	The number of different cities buyers gave at checkout, across those events. Only orders that carry a city count.
Sponsored Events	How many of your sponsorships are Active or Completed.
Total Spend ③	The amounts recorded as paid on your sponsorships, shown per currency when you sponsor in more than one.
Deliverables Done	Completed deliverables divided by all deliverables across all of your sponsorships. It reads 100% while no deliverables exist yet.
Pending Applications	Applications the organizer has not yet approved or rejected.
Active Sponsorships	Sponsorships that are paid and live.

The checklist and the recent list

1. The Onboarding Checklist ④ follows your newest approved or active sponsorship and shows four rows: Application submitted, Agreement signed, Payment confirmed and Logo uploaded. Rows that are not done link to the place where you finish them (See how to pay or Add it under My sponsorships).
2. While an approved sponsorship is unpaid, a yellow bar shows the date your payment is due.
3. The My Sponsorships list ⑤ shows your five newest sponsorships. Each row carries a status badge, a small progress bar with completed/total deliverables, and an Analytics link. View all opens the full list.

Good to know

• Tickets Sold, Orders, Attendee Cities and Sponsored Events count Active and Completed sponsorships — paid and running, or finished. That is the same rule as Event Analytics, so the two agree apart from the refresh delay. Total Spend and Deliverables Done cover all of your sponsorships.
• An Approved sponsorship you have not paid yet is not in these figures; it appears once the payment is confirmed and it becomes Active.
• These cards are refreshed about every ten minutes, so a ticket sold a moment ago may not show yet. The analytics pages read live figures.
• EventMann does not measure how often your logo is seen or clicked. The portal shows what is actually recorded: tickets, orders, cities and your own spend. See Measuring Sponsorship ROI.

Troubleshooting

• The cards show zero, and the list says you are not associated with any events — you have not applied yet, or every application was rejected, expired or withdrawn. Open Browse Packages.
• Attendee Cities is lower than expected or zero — the city comes from the address buyers enter at checkout. If the event does not ask for an address, there is nothing to count.
• The payment row will not tick — it turns green once the organizer has recorded your payment or the Stripe invoice has been paid. See Paying for a Sponsorship.

Browse Packages in the sponsor sidebar lists the events that are looking for sponsors. Each card is one event; opening it shows that event’s sponsorship packages and is where you apply.

What you can do here

• See every published event that has at least one active sponsorship package, newest start date first, twelve per page.
• Open an event to compare its packages: tier, price, benefits, placements and how many spots are left.
• Apply for a package straight from the event page.

Find an event

1. Click Browse Packages in the sidebar. The page title is Browse Packages ① and each event is a card ②.
2. Read the card: the event image (or a placeholder), its title, the date and a badge such as 3 packages available ③.
3. Click the card to open the event’s packages.

Read an event’s packages

The event page shows the title, date and city (or Online), then one card per package. Packages are ordered Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and then the untiered ones, and within a tier in the order the organizer chose. A card contains:

• Name, tier badge and price ①② — the price is what you would agree to pay, in the package’s currency.
• Description and benefit bullets ③ — free text written by the organizer for that package.
• Placement chips ④ — the standard items the organizer ticked, such as Logo Placement, Stage Mention or Booth Space. See Understanding Sponsorship Tiers for the full list.
• Spots ⑤ — for a limited package, x / y spots taken, with n spots left once two or fewer remain.
• Apply Now ⑥ — opens the application form on the same page.

Good to know

• An event only appears here while it is live and public, and a package only appears while the organizer keeps it active. Draft, private and finished events are not listed, and their package pages answer “not found”.
• Spots are counted from sponsorships that are Approved or Active. A pending application does not take a spot until the organizer approves it. When all spots are taken the button reads This package is full. and cannot be clicked.
• If you already have an application on the event (in any state except withdrawn), every button on the page reads Already Applied. You can apply for one package per event.
• Some organizers also show a Sponsor this event section on their public event page. For a signed-in sponsor its button leads here; for everyone else it leads to the For Sponsors page.
• There is no search or filter on this page. If you are looking for one event, ask the organizer to send you the link, or page through the list.

Troubleshooting

• “No sponsorship opportunities available at the moment” — no live event currently has an active package. Check again later.
• An event you were told about is missing — it may still be a draft, be private, or have its packages switched off. Ask the organizer.
• A package shows no tier badge — the organizer left the tier on Custom. It simply sorts last.
• The price differs from what the organizer quoted — the price you apply under is the one shown on this page. It is saved on your application when you submit it, so a later change to the package does not re-price an application you already sent.

Every sponsorship package carries a tier — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Custom — and a set of benefits. This article explains what the tier means on an event page (Browse Packages, then an event) and what you should read instead of the name when you compare packages.

What a tier is

• A label and a colour. The badge next to the package name shows the tier: Gold ①, Silver ② and Bronze ③ in the picture below. Packages are listed Platinum first, then Gold, Silver, Bronze, then packages without a badge.
• Nothing else is fixed. There is no rule that ties “Gold” to a set of perks or a price. Each organizer decides what their Gold package contains, so a Gold package on one event can look nothing like a Gold package on another.
• Custom is the default when the organizer picks no tier. It shows no badge and sorts last — it is not a step below Bronze. The Booth Partner package ④ in the picture is an example; booth packages and one-off offers are typically untiered.

What to read on a package

1. The benefit bullets — plain sentences the organizer wrote, for example “Logo on the stage backdrop”. This is where bespoke offers are described.
2. The placement chips — items from EventMann’s standard list. Because the list is the same on every event, two packages from two organizers can be compared item for item. The list has five groups: Brand visibility (Logo Placement, Event Page, Website Listing, Social Media, Email Blast, Email Marketing, Banner Ad, Stage Mention), On-site presence (Booth Space, Product Sampling, Branded Zone), Access & hospitality (Hospitality Tickets, VIP Access), Programme (Speaking Slot, Workshop Session) and Reporting (Post-Event Report).
3. The spots line — some packages are capped (for example two Gold sponsors). It reads x / y spots taken.
4. The price — set per package by the organizer, not derived from the tier.

Good to know

• A chip is a promise the organizer made on the page, and the organizer tracks its delivery. Agree the details in the message thread after you apply, and watch the progress in Sponsorship Deliverables.
• “Post-Event Report” means a report from the organizer. It is not an EventMann feature; the figures EventMann shows you are described in Event Analytics.
• Only Approved and Active sponsorships take a spot, so a package can show spots left while applications are still waiting.
• Pick a package by what it contains and what it costs. Two packages with the same tier name on different events are separate offers.

Troubleshooting

• A Gold package looks weaker than a Silver one elsewhere — expected. Compare the bullets and chips, not the name.
• A package has no chips — the organizer only wrote free-text benefits. Read the bullets, or ask in a message once you have applied.
• The package you want is full — try another package of the same event, or ask the organizer whether a spot may open up.

This covers the whole path from choosing a package to a live sponsorship: the application form, what the organizer does with it, and the places where it can stall. You apply from an event’s page under Browse Packages; the application then appears in My Sponsorships.

Apply for a package

1. Open Browse Packages, open the event and choose a package that is not full. Click Apply Now. The page switches to the application form without leaving the event.
2. Enter your Company Name ① (required) and, if you like, your Website ② and a Tagline / Slogan. The form is pre-filled from your most recent application, or with your account name the first time.
3. Choose a Company logo ③ if you have it ready — JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB. It is shown next to your name on the event page, and on ticket PDFs if the organizer switches that on. You can also add or replace it later in My Sponsorships.
4. Use Additional Notes ④ to tell the organizer about your brand and goals (up to 2,000 characters).
5. Tick the agreement ⑤ — “I have read and agree to the sponsorship terms and conditions”. It is required; the form shows a message under the field if you forget it or leave the company name empty.
6. Click Submit Application ⑥. You land on My Sponsorships with the confirmation “Your sponsorship application has been submitted.” and the status Pending.

What happens next

1. The organizer is told. They get a notification in the bell, and an email if their Sponsorship applications preference is on.
2. They approve or reject. A rejection can carry a reason; you see it in My Sponsorships and in the banner on the event page.
3. If approved, the status becomes Approved and you have 14 days to pay. You get a notification (and an email if your Sponsorship messages preference is on) with the amount, the due date and how to pay. See Paying for a Sponsorship.
4. When the payment is recorded the sponsorship becomes Active, your logo and name can appear where the organizer placed them, and the analytics pages open.
5. After the event the organizer marks it Completed once every required deliverable is done.

One application per event

You can have one application per event. While it exists, a blue note at the top of the event page shows its current status ① and every package button reads Already Applied ②.

Good to know

• The price is fixed when you apply. The package price at that moment is saved on your application. If the organizer edits the package afterwards, your invoice still uses the price you agreed.
• The organizer receives your company name and your notes in the notification email and finds you in their sponsor list. EventMann does not publish your application anywhere.
• An organizer can also record a sponsor they already have without that sponsor ever applying. Those sponsorships are not tied to a sponsor account and do not appear in the sponsor portal.
• A Pending application has no deadline. If the organizer is slow, send a message from My Sponsorships.

Troubleshooting

• “Already Applied” and you want a different package — withdraw the pending application first (see My Sponsorships), then apply again. A withdrawn application can be re-submitted; the logo you uploaded is kept.
• Your application was rejected or expired and the buttons stay disabled — only a withdrawn application can be replaced. Message the organizer to discuss it.
• “This package is full.” — every spot is taken by an approved or active sponsor. Choose another package.
• The submit button seems to do nothing — check for the red message under Company Name or the agreement checkbox.
• The logo is refused — it must be an image of type JPG, PNG or WebP and at most 2 MB. SVG files are not accepted.

My Sponsorships (sidebar) lists every sponsorship application you have made, whatever its status. It is where you see what has been decided, pay an approved sponsorship, upload your logo, follow deliverable progress, write to the organizer and withdraw an application that is still pending.

What you can do here

• Read the status of each application and what is expected of you next.
• Pay an approved sponsorship or see how to pay it.
• Add or replace your logo.
• Open the message thread with the organizer.
• Withdraw a pending application.

Read the list

The table shows one row per application, twenty per page, newest first. Its columns are:

• Event — the event title and its date.
• Package — the package name and its tier badge.
• Logo ① — your logo, with Upload logo or Replace logo next to it.
• Status ② — see the table below. Under Approved you also see the amount due, the date to pay by and the payment button; under Active or Completed the date you paid; under Rejected the organizer’s reason, if they gave one.
• Deliverables ③ — a progress bar and a count such as 4/6. It shows how many of the organizer’s deliverables for your sponsorship are done; the logo and payment lines tick themselves when you upload and when the payment is recorded. See Sponsorship Deliverables.
• Applied On — the day you submitted the application.
• Action — Message Organizer ④, with a red number when the organizer has written something you have not read, and Withdraw ⑤ for pending applications.

Add or replace your logo

1. Find your row. In the Logo column click Upload logo (or Replace logo) ①.
2. Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP file of up to 2 MB. It is uploaded as soon as you pick it — there is no separate save button.
3. The confirmation says the logo now shows on the event page and, where the organizer enables it, on tickets. The old file is removed.
4. If the organizer has a Logo Upload deliverable on your sponsorship, it is ticked at the same time, so the Deliverables bar moves without waiting for them.

Withdraw a pending application

1. On a Pending row click Withdraw.
2. The dialog ① says “Your application for … will be withdrawn and the organizer will be informed.” Click Withdraw ③ to confirm, or Keep application ② to leave it as it is.
3. The status becomes Cancelled and the organizer is notified in the bell and by email.

Good to know

• Only Pending applications can be withdrawn by you. Once the organizer has approved, there is an agreement and possibly an invoice behind it, so changes go through the organizer — use Message Organizer.
• The sidebar shows a red number on My Sponsorships for unread organizer messages.
• Rejected, expired and cancelled rows show no logo upload and no message button.
• Your payment appears under the status as soon as it is recorded — by Stripe when you pay a Stripe invoice, or by the organizer when you pay them directly.

Troubleshooting

• The list is empty — you have not applied yet. Use Browse Packages.
• There is no Withdraw button — the application is no longer pending. See the note above.
• The logo upload says it failed — the file must be JPG, PNG or WebP and at most 2 MB; SVG is not accepted.
• A payment you made is not shown — if you paid the organizer directly, they have to confirm it. Message them with the date and reference.

EventMann has no renewal feature for sponsors: there is no “renew” button, no standing agreement and no reserved spot for last year’s sponsors. Sponsoring the next edition of an event works exactly like sponsoring the first one — you find the new event under Browse Packages and apply again.

Why there is no renewal step

• Every edition is its own event. A sponsorship belongs to one event. When an organizer sets up next year’s edition, it is a new event — including when it is created by copying or repeating an earlier one. Copying an event does not copy its sponsorship packages or its sponsors.
• Your old application stays with the old event. It has no effect on whether you can apply to the new one.
• Nothing is locked in. There is no price protection, priority queue or reserved tier for returning sponsors. What the organizer publishes for the new event is open to every sponsor.
• No multi-event bundles. One application covers one event, even if it is the same organizer and the same brand.

Sponsor the next edition

1. Ask the organizer when they plan to open sponsorship. While your earlier sponsorship is Approved, Active or Completed, the message thread under My Sponsorships stays available for that.
2. When the organizer has published the new event and its packages, open Browse Packages and find it.
3. Click Apply Now on the package you want. Your company name, website and tagline are pre-filled from your most recent application, so you only need to check them and upload the logo if you want to attach one straight away.
4. Submit. From here the process is the normal one: the organizer approves, you pay, the sponsorship becomes active. See How to Apply for Sponsorship.

Good to know

• Your earlier sponsorships remain in My Sponsorships, and a Completed sponsorship still shows in Event Analytics and in the export, which is useful when you decide whether to come back.
• There is no way to follow an organizer or an event and be notified when sponsorship opens. The reliable channel is a direct message while the earlier thread is open, or contact outside the platform.
• If your earlier sponsorship was Rejected, Expired or Cancelled, its message button is no longer shown, so you would contact the organizer another way.
• The new price is whatever the new package costs when you apply. It can be higher or lower than last time.

Troubleshooting

• I cannot find a renew button — there is none. Apply through Browse Packages.
• The new event does not appear in Browse Packages — it is not published yet, or the organizer has not added an active sponsorship package to it.
• My logo is missing on the new sponsorship — a logo belongs to one application. Upload it again with the application or from My Sponsorships.

When an organizer approves your application, your sponsorship moves to Approved and you owe the agreed amount. You pay the organizer — EventMann does not collect sponsorship money for itself. This article shows where to find the amount, the two ways it can be paid, and what happens if you miss the deadline. Everything is on My Sponsorships.

Find what you owe

1. When the organizer approves, you get a notification in the bell and, if your Sponsorship messages preference is on, an email with the amount, the due date and how to pay.
2. Open My Sponsorships. In the Status column the Approved badge ① is followed by Amount due ② with the price you agreed when you applied, and Pay by with the deadline — 14 days after approval.
3. On your dashboard the checklist row Payment confirmed links here (See how to pay), and a yellow bar repeats the due date.

Pay by Stripe invoice

If the organizer has a Stripe account that can take payments, EventMann creates an invoice on that account when they approve you, and Stripe emails it to the address of your EventMann account.

1. In the status cell you see the invoice number and the button Pay invoice ③.
2. Click it. The invoice opens in a new tab on a Stripe-hosted page where you pay the amount.
3. When Stripe reports the invoice as paid, your sponsorship turns Active automatically and the status cell shows Paid on with the date. The Payment deliverable is ticked at the same moment. You do not have to tell anyone.

Pay the organizer directly

If the organizer cannot take payments through Stripe, or the invoice could not be created, there is no button. The cell instead says “Pay the organizer directly; they will confirm it here once received.”

1. Message the organizer from the same row (Message Organizer) and agree how and where to pay — for example a bank transfer.
2. Pay the amount shown.
3. The organizer records the payment in their sponsorship list. Your sponsorship becomes Active, Paid on appears and the Payment deliverable is ticked. Until then it stays Approved.

Good to know

• The amount is the price saved when you applied. If the organizer changes the package afterwards, your amount does not change.
• The invoice is the organizer’s, issued on their Stripe account in the package’s currency. Tax treatment and any receipt you need are matters between you and the organizer. EventMann adds no commission on top of the agreed price.
• Total Spend on the dashboard adds up the amounts recorded as paid, per currency.
• EventMann does not process refunds of sponsorship payments. If something has to be returned, agree it with the organizer, who received the money.
• Analytics for your sponsorship open only once it is Active.

Troubleshooting

• I never received the invoice email — look at the account email under My Profile and your spam folder, or simply use the Pay invoice button in My Sponsorships.
• I paid but the status is still Approved — a Stripe payment normally updates the status within moments. If you paid the organizer by another route, they have to confirm it. Send a message with the date and your reference.
• The deadline passed — an approved sponsorship that is still unpaid after its deadline is set to Expired by an hourly check. An expired sponsorship cannot be reopened and you cannot apply to the same event again, so message the organizer if you both still want to go ahead — they can record the sponsorship themselves.
• The invoice shows a different amount than I expected — compare it with the price on your application. Ask the organizer if they differ.

Your logo is the part of a sponsorship that attendees can actually see on EventMann. This article explains where it is shown, who decides that, and how to upload or replace it. The placements that happen at the venue — a banner by the stage, a mention from the microphone — are agreed with the organizer and delivered by them; EventMann only controls the two online places below.

Where your logo appears

• The public event page. Under the heading Sponsored By ①, next to your company name ②. It is shown for sponsorships that are Approved, Active or Completed, as long as the organizer has left “show on the event page” on for you. That setting is on by default. Without a logo, the page shows the first letter of your company name or your account picture instead.
• Ticket PDFs. Only if the organizer has switched on sponsors in their ticket design and ticked “show on tickets” for your sponsorship, which is off by default. Up to five sponsors are printed, for sponsorships that are Approved or Active. Because tickets are rendered from the current design, a sponsor added later appears on tickets downloaded afterwards.

Upload or replace your logo

1. With the application: choose the file in the Company logo field of the form (see How to Apply for Sponsorship).
2. Later: open My Sponsorships, find the row and click Upload logo or Replace logo (see My Sponsorships). The file is saved as soon as you choose it.

The logo must be a JPG, PNG or WebP image of at most 2 MB. SVG is not accepted. A wide logo on a transparent or white background works best, because it is shown at about 32 pixels high on the event page and printed small on tickets.

Who decides what

Question	Who decides

Good to know

• A sponsorship that is only Pending is not shown anywhere. The logo you upload with the application is kept and starts to appear once the organizer approves.
• Rejected, expired and cancelled sponsorships are not shown. You cannot upload a logo for them either.
• The organizer can hide your logo from the event page or tickets at any time. Ask them in a message if it is missing.
• Replacing the logo deletes the old file. If you re-apply after withdrawing, the logo already on the application is kept unless you choose a new one.
• EventMann does not count how often the page or a ticket is viewed, so there is no figure for logo exposure. See Measuring Sponsorship ROI.

Troubleshooting

• My logo is not on the event page — your sponsorship may still be pending, or the organizer switched the placement off. Check the status in My Sponsorships, then message them.
• The page shows a letter instead of my logo — no logo is saved on that sponsorship. Upload one.
• My logo is not on the tickets — tickets are opt-in. Ask the organizer to enable sponsors in the ticket design and on your sponsorship.
• The upload is refused — check the file type (JPG, PNG, WebP) and the size (2 MB).

A deliverable is one item of work attached to your sponsorship — supplying your logo, signing the agreement, paying, a social media post, a stage mention. The organizer creates them and ticks most of them off; two tick themselves when you do your part. As a sponsor you follow the progress. This article explains where the progress appears, how it is counted, and what you can and cannot do with it.

Where you see deliverables

• My Sponsorships — the Deliverables column shows a progress bar and a count such as 4/6 for each sponsorship. A dash means the organizer has not created any yet.
• Sponsor Portal (dashboard) — each row in the recent list carries the same bar and count ①②, and the Deliverables Done card shows the overall percentage across all of your sponsorships.

How deliverables work

1. Three are created when your application is approved: Logo Upload, Signed Agreement and Payment. All three are marked required.
2. The organizer can add more. Each one has a title, an optional description and due date, a type (Logo Upload, Banner Upload, Signed Agreement, Payment, Social Post, Stage Mention, Email Blast or Other) and a flag for whether it is required.
3. Two tick themselves. A Logo Upload deliverable is completed the moment you upload your logo on My Sponsorships — or at approval, if your application already carried one. A Payment deliverable is completed when the sponsorship is paid: when Stripe reports the invoice paid, or when the organizer records a payment you made to them directly.
4. The organizer ticks the rest. Every other deliverable is pending until the organizer marks it completed — a banner, a signed agreement or a stage mention happens outside EventMann, so nothing can tick it for them.
5. Closing the sponsorship. The organizer can mark a sponsorship Completed only when every required deliverable is done. Optional deliverables do not block it.

What you can and cannot do

• You can see how far the work has progressed, as a count and a bar.
• You cannot tick a deliverable yourself, and the portal does not list their titles or due dates. For the details, use Message Organizer and ask — see Communicating with Organizers.
• Your own part is usually small: upload your logo (My Sponsorships), pay (Paying for a Sponsorship) and send whatever the organizer asks for, such as banner artwork.

Good to know

• The percentage on the dashboard is completed deliverables divided by all deliverables, across all of your sponsorships. It shows 100% while there are none at all, so a fresh account does not look behind.
• Only the Logo Upload and Payment types tick themselves. A deliverable the organizer gave another type — say a logo request filed as Other, or Banner Upload — still waits for their tick.
• An automatic tick never undoes anything: replacing your logo later leaves the line completed, and a line the organizer already ticked keeps their name and date.
• A pending application has no deliverables yet; they appear on approval.
• The deliverables belong to the organizer’s agreement with you. EventMann does not verify that a stage mention or a post actually happened — it only records the organizer’s tick.

Troubleshooting

• The column shows a dash — no deliverables exist yet. Wait for approval, or ask the organizer.
• The bar did not move after I paid or uploaded my logo — a payment made outside Stripe (a bank transfer to the organizer) counts once the organizer records it, and a matching deliverable may have been created with a different type. Message the organizer.
• The sponsorship is still Active after the event — a required deliverable is probably still open. The organizer can tell you which.

Event Analytics (sponsor sidebar) shows what EventMann actually measures about the events you sponsor: how many tickets were sold, how many orders that was, and how many different cities the buyers came from. It is a table of your events plus one comparison chart, with buttons to download the same rows.

What you can do here

• Compare your sponsored events side by side in one chart.
• Read the exact numbers per event in the table.
• Download the table as CSV or Excel ①.

What the page shows

1. Export CSV / Export Excel ① at the top right — downloads the table. They appear only when there is data.
2. Event Performance Comparison ② — a grouped bar chart with one group per event and three bars: Tickets Sold, Orders and Attendee Cities. The small menu on the chart saves it as SVG, PNG or CSV.
3. The table — one row per event with the event name, the Status of the event (for example Live or Completed), Tickets Sold ③, Orders and Attendee Cities ④.

What each figure means

Good to know

• The page lists events where your sponsorship is Active or Completed, meaning approved and paid. Pending, approved-but-unpaid, rejected and cancelled sponsorships do not unlock another organizer’s sales figures.
• The figures are read live every time you open the page. The dashboard cards are refreshed about every ten minutes, so the two can differ briefly.
• The charts show one value per event. They are not a trend over time.
• EventMann does not measure impressions, logo views, clicks, booth visits or engagement. Nothing on this page is an estimate: every number is a count of tickets, orders or cities. See Measuring Sponsorship ROI for how to judge a sponsorship with these figures.
• If an event does not ask buyers for an address, Attendee Cities is zero for it.

Troubleshooting

• The page is empty — you have no Active or Completed sponsorship yet. See Engagement Analytics for the message you see, and Paying for a Sponsorship if yours is still unpaid.
• An event you sponsor is missing — its sponsorship is probably still Approved (unpaid) or was recorded without your account.
• Tickets Sold is lower than the organizer’s own number — only orders with the status confirmed are counted here, so cancelled, refunded and unpaid orders are left out. The organizer’s own screens may include other statuses.

Engagement Analytics (sponsor sidebar) puts the same audience figures as Event Analytics into two charts, so you can read them at a glance. Despite the name, it does not measure engagement: EventMann does not track clicks, views, scans or any interaction with your branding. What it charts is real and countable — tickets sold and attendee cities for each sponsored event.

What is on this page

• Tickets Sold ① — an area chart with one point per sponsored event, labelled with the event title (shortened to 20 characters), valued at the number of tickets on confirmed orders.
• Attendee Cities ② — a bar chart of how many different cities buyers entered at checkout, per event.
• Export CSV / Export Excel ③ — two buttons under the charts that download the same table as Event Analytics.

How to read it

1. Compare the height of each point or bar between events: a bigger audience in the first chart, a wider geographic spread in the second.
2. Hover a point or bar for the exact value. The menu on the chart saves it as SVG, PNG or CSV.
3. Use the table on Event Analytics when you also want the number of orders.

Good to know

• The charts show one value per event, in the order of your sponsorships. They are not a time series, even though the first one is drawn as an area.
• Only events where your sponsorship is Active or Completed appear. Before that, the page shows “Nothing to show yet” and explains that audience figures appear once a sponsorship is approved and paid, with a button to My Sponsorships.
• The numbers are live counts, not estimates, and there is no date filter.
• Earlier versions of these pages showed impressions and an engagement rate. Those were calculated from the number of orders and were not measurements, so they were removed. If you have an old report that mentions them, do not rely on it.

Troubleshooting

• “Nothing to show yet” — no sponsorship of yours is Active or Completed. A pending application, or one that is approved but unpaid, does not count yet.
• The cities chart is flat at zero — the event does not collect buyers’ addresses, so no city is recorded.
• The event labels are cut off — labels are shortened to 20 characters on this page. The full names are in the table on Event Analytics.

EventMann does not calculate a return on investment for your sponsorship. It cannot: a return needs your total cost and your own idea of what a lead or a sale is worth, and only you hold those. What EventMann gives you is a small set of figures that are actually recorded. This article lists them, says plainly what is not measured, and shows how to combine them with your own numbers.

What EventMann records for you

• Tickets Sold and Orders — confirmed ticket sales for the events you sponsor (Event Analytics). A measure of how large the audience is.
• Attendee Cities — how many different cities buyers gave at checkout. A rough measure of how far the event reaches.
• Total Spend — the amounts recorded as paid on your sponsorships, per currency (dashboard card).
• Deliverables Done — how much of the agreed work the organizer has ticked off. A delivery figure, not a money figure.

What EventMann does not record

• How many people saw your logo, banner or stage mention. There are no impression or view counts anywhere on the platform.
• Clicks, scans, booth visits, lead captures or any other interaction with your brand.
• Which attendee later became your customer.
• A money value for the audience. A ticket count is not revenue for you.

The sponsor pages used to show an impressions figure and an engagement rate. Both were derived from the number of orders rather than measured, which is why they were removed. Treat any report that still contains them as unreliable.

Work out your own return

1. Add up your cost. Take Total Spend for the sponsorship and add what EventMann cannot see: staff time, travel, booth build, printed material, giveaways.
2. Count what you can attribute. Use your own tools: a landing page or web address used only for this event, a promo code handed out at the booth, a sign-up sheet. Count leads, bookings or sales that came from them.
3. Put a value on it. Multiply the count by what a lead or sale is worth to your business, using your own sales data.
4. Calculate. Return = (value − cost) ÷ cost.

The amounts above are made up to show the shape of the calculation. None of them come from EventMann.

Use the platform figures as context

• Cost per ticket sold = your total cost ÷ Tickets Sold. It tells you what each member of the audience cost you, not what they were worth.
• Compare two events by Tickets Sold and Attendee Cities, but do not mix them into the return percentage — they carry no price.
• Ask the organizer for their post-event report if your package includes one (the chip Post-Event Report). It comes from the organizer, not from EventMann.
• Download the figures from Export Reports and keep them next to your own tracking sheet.

Troubleshooting

• I cannot find an ROI or impressions number — there is none. The platform only reports counts of tickets, orders and cities.
• The export has no cost or value columns — correct. It contains Event, Tickets sold, Orders and Attendee cities.
• Total Spend looks wrong — it adds the amounts recorded as paid. A sponsorship that is approved but unpaid, or one you paid by another route that the organizer has not confirmed, is not included yet.

Export Report (sponsor sidebar) lets you download the figures from Event Analytics as a file for your own records, your finance team or a renewal discussion. The page first shows exactly which rows will be in the file; nothing is downloaded until you press a button.

• Preview the rows of the report.
• Download them as CSV ① or Excel ②.

Download a report

1. Open Export Report. The heading reads “Review your sponsored-event metrics, then download them as CSV or Excel.”
2. Check the Report preview ③ table. These are the exact rows that go into the file.
3. Click Export CSV ① for a plain comma-separated file, which opens in any spreadsheet or can be imported into other tools, or Export Excel ② for a ready-made workbook.
4. The file is named sales-report- followed by today’s date. In the Excel workbook the sheet is titled Sponsor Analytics.

Good to know

• The file is a snapshot of the moment you download it. Download again later for newer figures.
• There are no date filters and no per-sponsorship filter: the report always covers every qualifying event.
• The report has no cost, value, impression or ROI columns, because EventMann does not record those. See Measuring Sponsorship ROI for how to add your own.
• The buttons only appear when there is something to export. Without data the preview says “No analytics data to export yet.”

Troubleshooting

• There are no download buttons — you have no Active or Completed sponsorship yet, so the report is empty.
• An event is missing from the file — its sponsorship is not yet paid, or it was cancelled or rejected.
• Excel shows the numbers as text — use the Excel button instead of opening the CSV, or import the CSV with the comma as the separator.
• The numbers differ from the dashboard — the dashboard refreshes about every ten minutes; the report is read live. Both cover the same sponsorships.

Every sponsorship has a private message thread between you and the organizer. It is the place to agree where your banner goes, send artwork details, arrange payment when there is no Stripe invoice, and ask which deliverables are still open. You open it with Message Organizer on the My Sponsorships page.

What you can do here

• Read the conversation about one sponsorship, oldest message first.
• Write to the organizer and see their replies appear without reloading.
• Get notified when the organizer writes.

Send a message

1. Open My Sponsorships and click Message Organizer on the row. The page is titled Messages and shows the event and the package underneath.
2. Read the thread ① — your own messages are tinted violet and labelled You; the organizer’s are white and carry their name. Opening the thread marks their messages as read.
3. Type in the box ② (“Type a message…”), up to 3,000 characters, and click Send ③.
4. While the page stays open it checks for new messages every few seconds, so a reply appears by itself.

How you are notified

• When the organizer writes, you get a bell notification, a mobile push if you use it, and an email if your Sponsorship messages notification preference is on (it is, unless you changed it).
• A red number on My Sponsorships in the sidebar, and on the Message Organizer button of the row, counts unread messages.
• The organizer is notified the same way when you write, according to their own preferences.

Good to know

• The thread belongs to one sponsorship. If you sponsor two events, there are two threads.
• It is plain text. There are no attachments, so for logos use the upload on My Sponsorships and for large files agree another route with the organizer.
• Pressing Send twice quickly does not send twice: an identical message within ten seconds is treated as the same one.
• The button is shown for pending, approved, active and completed sponsorships. For rejected, expired and cancelled ones it is hidden.
• Who answers on the organizer’s side is up to them: the organizer and team members with permission to view and reply to sponsorship messages can read and answer.
• Do not put passwords or card numbers into a message. Payments go through the Stripe invoice or the organizer’s own bank details, never through the thread.

Troubleshooting

• There is no Message Organizer button — the application was rejected, has expired or was cancelled. Contact the organizer another way.
• I did not get an email for a new message — check that Sponsorship messages is switched on in your notification preferences and look in your spam folder. The bell notification is always created.
• My message does not show up — the box requires some text, and messages over 3,000 characters are refused. Shorten it and send again.
• The organizer does not answer — there is no deadline for a reply. A slower organizer is not a technical fault; try again a few days later.

EventMann is a platform for finding and booking event tickets, and for the organizers, vendors, sponsors, staff and venues that make those events happen. This page is the map: read it first, then follow the link that fits what you want to do. If you only want to look at events, you do not need an account at all.

1. Open Register at the top right.
2. Press Google ①, Facebook or LinkedIn to sign up with that account, which skips choosing a password. Or fill in the form: Name ②, Email, Password and Confirm Password.
3. Press Create account ③.

• The ordinary registration page creates an attendee account, the one for browsing and buying tickets. Organizer, vendor, sponsor and venue accounts are created from their own sign-up pages, linked from the footer.
• You are signed in straight away. We send you an email with a link to verify your address; it is valid for 72 hours. Some things, such as buying a membership, publishing as an organizer or accepting a ticket transfer, need a verified address.
• A password needs at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character.

1. Open Sign In and enter your email and password, or use one of the social buttons you registered with.
2. Tick Remember me ③ if you want to stay signed in on this device.
3. If you turned on two-factor authentication, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app (or a recovery code).

Forgot your password? Press Forgot your password? ② and follow the emailed link, valid for 60 minutes. An account you do not use is signed out after a period of inactivity.

• The top bar — the search box, the language flag, a light/dark switch, the ? button that opens help for the page you are on, a messages icon, the notification bell and your avatar. Under it: Categories, Locations, Organizers, Vendors, Venues, Sponsors, Staff / Helpers and All Events.

• One account, several roles. You can ask for another role without a second account. An organizer role is granted at once on a verified email; vendor, sponsor and venue requests are reviewed first. Staff members are added by an organizer. Switch between roles you hold from the avatar menu.
• You can browse and search without an account. A checkout asks you to sign in only if that event’s organizer requires it.
• EventMann is operated by ChetsApp UG in Fellbach, Germany, and is available in several languages: choose one with the flag in the top bar or in your profile.
• Everything about your data is in Privacy & Data.

Troubleshooting

• I signed up but do not see my dashboard — check your email for the verification message, including spam. The Dashboard link opens the dashboard for your current role.
• I want to become an organizer, vendor, sponsor or venue owner — use the Become an Organizer or Become a Vendor style links in the footer while signed in; you do not need a new account.
• I was hired to help at someone’s event — the organizer adds you to their team; the invitation email gives you access to that event.
• I cannot sign in — use Forgot your password?; if you registered with Google, Facebook or LinkedIn, use that button instead.

The Events page lists everything currently on sale, soonest first. Use it when you want to look through a category or a time window rather than search for something specific. Open it with All Events at the right end of the top bar, or from the footer. You do not need an account.

What you can do here

• Filter by category ① — the Category list contains the categories that have at least one upcoming event.
• Filter by date ② — Today, This Weekend, This Week or This Month narrows the list to events that start in that window.
• Search within the list — the search box matches the event name, the city and the venue name, not the description. For a fuller search with prices and dates, use Search.
• Combine them — category, date and words work together. When any filter is active, a link next to the search bar clears it.
• Open an event — click a card or Get Tickets. Each card shows the date, venue, the organizer and the lowest ticket price.

How results are ordered

• Soonest start date first.
• Twelve events per page, with page links under the list.

Which events are listed

• Only events that are Live and public and have not started yet. A draft, a paused event or an event set to private is not listed. A private event still opens for people who have its link.
• The list is narrowed to the country your connection appears to be in, because events elsewhere are rarely useful for a purchase. If there are no events for your country, you see all events. This also applies to the home page, Locations and the organizer and vendor directories. It does not apply to Search, and any event link opens from anywhere.
• If an organizer pauses a live event, it disappears from the list at once, but the direct link still works for people who have it.

Good to know

• Browsing never needs an account. Signing in adds Save on event pages so that you can keep a shortlist (see Saved Events).
• The Locations link in the top bar opens a map with popular cities and countries, and a page for each place that has events.

Troubleshooting

• An event I expected is missing — it may not be live yet, may be paused or private, or its date may fall outside the date window you chose. Clear all filters first. Try Search too, which is not limited to your country.
• A category I know is missing — categories without upcoming public events are left out of the list.
• There are no results — broaden the date window or remove the category. The empty page offers a link back to the full list.

Search is the finder to use when you know roughly what you want: a word, a city, a date range or a budget. It lives at /search: open it with Advanced search next to the result count on the Events page, which carries your search words along. It puts every filter in one place. No account is needed. The search box in the top bar is a lighter tool: it opens the Events page filtered by your words, which match the event name, city and venue only.

What you can filter by

• Keyword ① — matches the event title, description, venue and city.
• Categories and City — two lists that only offer values that currently have upcoming events, with the number of events next to each category.
• Free ③ and Online — check boxes. Free keeps events that have at least one free ticket type on sale; Online keeps online events.
• More filters — a From and To date, and a Min price and Max price. The price range keeps events with at least one ticket type on sale inside it.
• Sort ② — Soonest first, Latest first, Title A–Z, Price: low to high and Price: high to low. Price sorting goes by the cheapest ticket type on sale for each event.

How to search

1. Type a keyword in the box ① and press Search, or leave it empty and use only the filters.
2. Set any filters. Press + More filters for dates and prices.
3. The page shows how many events were found, twelve to a page. Use Clear filters to start again.

Good to know

• Only events that are live, public and not yet started are found. A private event (direct link only), a draft or a paused event never appears.
• Search is not narrowed to your country, unlike the Events page. See Browse Events.
• The filters are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark a search or send it to someone.
• When a search finds nothing, the page shows a short list of events that have been booked a lot in the last seven days, so you are not left with a blank page.
• Members-only and volunteer-only ticket types do not influence the price shown or the price filters, so an event is never listed as free only because of a thank-you ticket for volunteers.

Troubleshooting

• I get no results for a word I know exists — a filter from an earlier search may still be set (price, dates, Free, Online). Press Clear filters.
• The price filter seems odd for an event with several tiers — an event matches when any ticket type on sale falls in your range; the card then shows its lowest price.
• An event I can open directly is missing — it is private, not live or already started.
• The category list lacks a category — categories without upcoming public events are left out.

The event page is where a listing turns into a decision: it has everything you need to know about the event, the organizer’s rules and every ticket type on offer. You get there from any list, a search result, a shared link or the organizer’s page.

What is on the page

• Header — the cover picture (a generated picture for the category when the organizer uploaded none), the category, a Featured badge, an age badge when there is a minimum age, the title, the date and time and the venue address. Times are shown in the event’s own time zone, with the zone shown next to them. An online event says that the link is shared after you book.
• Save and share ① — Save adds the event to My Saved Events (signed in only). The round buttons share it by Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email or copy its link.
• About this event — the organizer’s description, and, where they added one, an agenda by day.
• Location — the venue and a map with Open in Maps for directions.
• Organized by ② — the organizer’s name and logo, how many followers they have, Follow or Following and Contact. The organizer’s email address is never printed; Contact opens a form (see How to Contact the Organizer). A Payments verified badge means they finished setting up payments.
• Ticket conditions ③ — what you may do with a ticket after buying: cancel, what you get back (the cancellation terms), change the attendee details and transfer it. Read this before you buy; see How to Get a Refund.
• Sponsors — sponsors the organizer chose to show.
• Reviews ④ — the average score, how many people gave each star count, and written reviews with the organizer’s reply under them. Only confirmed attendees can leave a review after the event.
• The ticket panel ⑤ — Ticket Types with a quantity chooser, described below.
• More events like this — other events in the same category. Report this event at the bottom opens the contact page with the event already filled in.

The ticket panel

The panel lists every ticket type you may see, with its price and a status: Available, Selling Fast, Filling Up, Only 3 left! or Sold Out. A price struck through with a smaller one beside it is a discount that applies now, for example a time-limited sale, and the price shown is the price you pay.

• Set a quantity with + and −. When you choose something, the order total appears; fees are only listed when the organizer passes them on to you.
• The button under the panel reads Select Tickets until you choose something, then Book Now with the total. It takes you to checkout with your quantities (see Checkout Process).
• Some rows are locked for you: Members only tickets, and Volunteers only thank-you tickets. See Member Benefits.
• If members may book earlier than everybody else, the panel says when you can start.
• For a seated event you choose seats on the checkout page, not here.
• Where the event has a waitlist and a type is sold out, you can join it at checkout.

Write a review

After the event has started, open Reviews from the event page, or Leave a review from your order or your dashboard.

1. Choose the stars under Write a Review ①.
2. Add a Title and a Comment if you like (both optional) and press Submit Review ②.

You can write one review per event, and only if you hold a confirmed booking for it. Reviews can be sorted by Newest, Highest, Lowest and Most Helpful, and the organizer may reply under yours.

Good to know

• If the ticket button is greyed out or missing, sales have not opened yet or have closed, or everything is sold out. The page tells you which.
• Prices already include the active discounts. A free ticket for volunteers does not make an event look free in lists or search.
• You can follow the organizer and write to them without buying anything.
• You can write a review once the event has started and you hold a confirmed booking for it. You can write one review per event, with a star rating and an optional title and comment, under Reviews or from your order in My Tickets.

Troubleshooting

• All ticket types say Sold Out — the booking button stays disabled. Check whether the organizer offers a waitlist.
• The price changed since my last visit — prices follow the organizer’s rules and time-limited sales, and the panel always shows the current price.
• I cannot find where to review — the form only appears after the event has started and only for people with a confirmed booking.
• I want to report a problem with the listing — use Report this event.

The vendor marketplace is where organizers find the businesses that help run an event — catering, photography, sound and lighting, décor, entertainment, rentals, security and marketing — and where those businesses get discovered. It is not a place to buy or sell tickets: tickets are sold by the organizers on their own event pages. You reach the marketplace with Vendors in the top bar, which opens the vendor page; the marketplace is the section Browse our vendor marketplace lower down.

Who it is for

• Vendors build a public profile once: services with prices, specializations and a bio. Organizers find them through search and filters instead of the vendor pitching to each organizer.
• Organizers (and admins) browse the profiles and send a quote request from a vendor’s page.
• Anyone can browse. Visitors from other roles see the same listing but not the quote button.

What you can do here

• See featured vendors ① — up to six vendors highlighted by EventMann appear at the top while no filter is active.
• Search and filter — by keyword, Category, Specializations tag, Price range and minimum star rating (the rating list’s first entry, Any, is the unfiltered option).
• Sort ② — Newest, Highest Rated, Name A-Z, Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low. Press Apply Filters ③ to run it, or Clear Filters to reset.
• Switch the view — the toggle above the results shows vendors as a grid or as a list.
• Compare — tick the box on up to three vendors, then open Compare Selected to see them side by side: rating, number of reviews and price range.
• Open a profile with View Profile.

A vendor profile

• The company name, a Featured badge where it applies, the average rating and review count, the bio and the specializations.
• Services ① — each with its price and how it is charged: fixed, hourly, daily, or on request. “Starting from” on a vendor card is the lowest active service price, not a quote.
• Reviews — ratings from organizers the vendor worked for, with comments.
• Request Quote ② — for signed-in organizers and admins. Write what you need (up to 2,000 characters), optionally name one of your events, and send it. The vendor gets a notification with your message. Pricing, scope and booking are then agreed directly between you; there is no quote or contract workflow on this page.

Good to know

• Only approved vendors are listed. A new vendor profile appears after it has been reviewed.
• Like the event lists, the marketplace shows vendors in your country when there are any; a vendor page opens from any link.
• Signed out, the quote section asks you to sign in. A signed-in attendee does not get a quote button, because quotes are for organizers.
• If you are a vendor yourself, your profile and services are managed in the vendor portal, not here (see Getting Started as a Vendor).

Troubleshooting

• I do not see Request Quote — you are signed out or not signed in as an organizer or admin.
• A vendor I know is missing — the profile may still be waiting for approval, it may be in another country, or your filters (price, rating, specialization) exclude it.
• The compare box is disabled — three vendors is the limit; untick one first.

Every account on EventMann, whatever roles it holds, keeps the same core details on one page: My Profile. Open it from your avatar menu in the top right corner, or from My Profile in the sidebar of your portal. This article covers what lives there for everybody. Attendee-specific details are in Account Settings & Password.

What you can do here

• Profile photo ① — upload a JPG or PNG up to 2 MB, or remove your photo to go back to your initial. The old file is deleted when you replace or remove it; there is no undo beyond uploading again.
• Full Name — required. It appears on your bookings and, for organizers, may appear with the events you publish.
• Email Address ② — required. Changing it makes your address unverified until you confirm the new one with the emailed link (valid 72 hours); messages and features that need a verified address pause until then.
• Phone Number and Bio — optional. For organizer accounts the bio may be shown publicly.
• Preferred Timezone — the zone in which event times are shown to you. It never changes an event’s actual schedule, which always runs on the venue’s own time.
• Language ③ — the language for the site, the emails and notifications we send you and your ticket PDFs. The flag in the top bar changes the language for the page you are on without saving anything.
• Save Changes ④ stores the form. The light/dark switch (the moon icon in the top bar) is separate: it saves at once.

Below the form

• Change Password, Set up Two-Factor Authentication and the Danger Zone (delete account). See Account Security & Two-Factor Authentication and Privacy & Data.
• What else the page shows depends on your role: an attendee sees a ticket count, the total spent and recent tickets; an organizer sees event totals; an admin sees platform figures.
• A card invites attendees to become an organizer. Its Start hosting events button turns your account into an organizer account at once, with no approval, as soon as your email address is verified (see Getting Started).

Other places that belong to your account

• Notification Preferences — in your avatar menu. See Notification Preferences.
• Active Sessions — the browsers signed in to your account; linked from the Sign-in & access card on your profile page. See Account Security.
• API Tokens — personal tokens for scripts or the scanner app, in the same card. A token is shown once when you create it; copy it then.
• Accessibility Settings — contrast, text size and motion, also in that card. See Accessibility.
• Role switcher — if you hold more than one role, switch from the avatar menu.

Good to know

• Your account has one name and one email for every role.
• Social sign-in accounts (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn) have the same profile page. Their password form does not ask for a current password.

Troubleshooting

• I changed my email and stopped getting some mail — confirm the new address with the verification email.
• My timezone change did not move an event — expected: it only changes how times are shown to you.
• The photo will not upload — use a JPG or PNG under 2 MB.
• I cannot find Active sessions or API tokens — they are not in the menus; open the addresses above.

Your password protects your account, and the settings in this article add layers on top of it. It explains each one: what it does, where to find it and what happens if you lose access. Most of it is on My Profile, reached from your avatar menu.

Password

Change it under Change Password ① on your profile. You enter your current password and the new one twice; the new one needs at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character. If you registered with Google, Facebook or LinkedIn, you never chose a password, so the form does not ask for the current one.

If you are locked out, press Forgot your password? on the sign-in page. The emailed reset link is valid for 60 minutes; ask for a new one if it ran out.

Email verification

New accounts start unverified. Click the link in the verification email, valid for 72 hours, to confirm your address. It works on any device because it does not need you to be signed in there. Some features need a verified address, for example buying a membership, accepting a ticket transfer or publishing an event. If the link expired or never came, ask for another from the notice on the site or from your profile. Changing your email address makes it unverified again.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

2FA adds a second step at sign-in: after your password you enter a 6-digit code from an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy.

1. On your profile press Enable Two-Factor ②. The setup page opens with a QR code.
2. Scan the code with your app. If you cannot scan it, type the secret shown under Can’t scan? Enter this secret manually ① into the app.
3. Enter the 6-digit code that your app now shows in the Verification code field ② and press Verify.
4. You are given 8 recovery codes, shown once. Save them somewhere other than the phone with your authenticator app, such as a password manager or a printout.

• From then on every sign-in asks for a code, after your password. At that screen, Use recovery code lets you enter a recovery code instead. Each recovery code works once and is then removed.
• After 5 wrong codes in a row, 2FA sign-in is locked for 15 minutes.
• To turn 2FA off, use the same section of your profile and confirm with your current password. The secret and the remaining recovery codes are deleted.
• If you lose both your authenticator app and your recovery codes, there is no way to get back in yourself: that is the point of a second factor. Contact Support and be ready to prove who you are in another way.

Active sessions

Open Active Sessions from the Sign-in & access card on your profile page (or go to /profile/sessions) to see every browser or device signed in to your account, with its IP address, browser and how long ago it was last active. Your current one is marked Current ①. Use the sign-out icon on a row to end that session, or Sign out all others ② to end every session except the one you are using. An account can hold at most 5 sessions; signing in on a sixth device signs out the least recently used one.

New device alerts

The first device you sign in with is trusted automatically. When you later sign in from a device we have not seen, we email you a New sign-in to your EventMann account message with the device and, when available, the location. Press Yes, this was me to confirm it. If it was not you, use the link in the email to secure your account and change your password at once.

Automatic sign-out

A session that has been idle for 30 minutes (the default) is signed out, so an unattended browser does not stay signed in. Background activity such as the notification bell does not count as activity.

Restrictions an administrator can apply

• IP allow-listing — an administrator can limit an account to certain IP addresses. From another address you get an access-denied message instead of the sign-in screen. Ask whoever manages the account.
• Suspension — a suspended account is signed out the next time it makes a request and cannot sign in until the suspension is lifted. Contact Support if you think it is a mistake.

Good to know

• 2FA and your password are independent: changing your password does not turn 2FA off, and 2FA does not change the password rules.
• Your 2FA secret and recovery codes can only be changed by the enable, confirm and disable steps above.
• Deleting your account (Danger Zone) asks for your password and cannot be undone; see Privacy & Data.

Troubleshooting

• My authenticator code is rejected — codes are time based. Set your phone’s clock to automatic and use the next code.
• I lost my phone — sign in with a saved recovery code, then set 2FA up again on the new phone.
• I used all my recovery codes and lost my app — contact Support.
• I get no verification or reset email — check spam and the address on your account, then ask for a new link; old ones expire.
• I was signed out on one device after signing in on another — you reached the limit of 5 sessions.

EventMann has four settings you can adjust for yourself, and a set of accessibility features that are built into the pages. This article says what is there today and how to report something that does not work for you. The settings page is linked as Accessibility Settings from the Sign-in & access card on your profile page, and is also at /accessibility/settings, which works without signing in.

The settings

• High Contrast Mode ① — increases the contrast between text and background colours.
• Reduce Animations ② — minimises motion effects and transitions. Nothing stops working; only the movement around it is removed.
• Screen Reader Optimised — shows clearer focus outlines and keeps the skip links visible when they get keyboard focus.
• Font Size ③ — a slider from Small to Extra Large (the default is Medium) that changes the text size across the platform.

1. Open Accessibility Settings from your profile page, or go to /accessibility/settings.
2. Switch on what you need and move the slider.
3. Press Save Settings ④. The page confirms and the setting applies on every page.

When you are signed in, your choices are saved to your account and follow you to other devices. When you are signed out, they are kept for your current browser session only. They are separate from the light and dark theme, so you can combine both.

Built into the platform

• Keyboard use — interactive elements can be reached and used without a mouse, and focus is visible.
• Structure — semantic page structure and landmarks so screen readers can move through a page.
• Forms — inputs have labels, and errors are described in text next to the field, not only in colour.
• Accessible seating — organizers can mark seats and whole sections as wheelchair-accessible. Those seats carry a wheelchair symbol on the seat map and in the seat list, and you can filter to show only accessible seats. The organizer enters this information, so ask them if it matters for your booking.
• Keyboard seat choice — every seat map has a seat list of real buttons that announce section, row, price, accessibility and availability. The picture of the map itself is pointer-only; the list is the full equivalent.

Known limitations

• Images and descriptions added by organizers may lack alternative text or structure; that depends on the organizer.
• PDF tickets contain text but are not optimised for every screen reader. The ticket page in the browser shows the same information.
• Content from other providers, such as maps and payment forms, is outside our direct control.

Our aim is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The page Accessibility Statement, linked from the settings page, describes our approach and these limits.

Report a problem

If you meet a barrier, such as a control you cannot reach by keyboard, text that does not resize or something a screen reader mishandles, open a support ticket or use the contact details on the Accessibility Statement. Name the page and describe what happened. Accessibility reports are treated as faults, not as feature requests.

Good to know

• The settings page works signed out as well, so you can adjust the site before you create an account.
• Your browser’s own zoom works as usual; the settings here are in addition to it.

Troubleshooting

• I cannot find the accessibility menu — it is not in the top menu; open it from the Sign-in & access card on your profile page, or go to /accessibility/settings directly.
• My font size did not stick — press Save Settings. When signed out, the choice lasts only for the browser session.
• The seat map cannot be used with my keyboard — use the seat list beside it.

EventMann is a web application built for current browsers, so how well it runs depends mostly on how up to date your browser is. This article says what to expect, what must be switched on, and a limit that matters if you check people in with an iPhone.

Recommended browsers

• Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge — the latest version of each is recommended.

The site uses modern web features, and the interactive parts (ticket quantities, menus, the payment form) rely on JavaScript, which must be enabled. An old browser is far more likely to cause trouble than any particular version number. Updating is the most reliable fix for layout or button problems.

Devices

The site adapts to desktop, tablet and phone screens. There is no EventMann app for attendees: you buy tickets, show them and manage your account in a browser on any device. Your tickets are web pages and PDFs, so a phone with a browser is enough at the door. A separate scanner app and an installable scanner web page exist for the people who check tickets (see below).

What has to be on

• JavaScript — without it most pages cannot work.
• Cookies — signing in and checkout use the site’s own cookies. The cookie banner lets you choose what else is allowed; refusing optional cookies does not stop you from buying.
• Access to Stripe’s payment form — the card and payment form is loaded from our payment provider. If an ad blocker or a strict network prevents it, the page says The payment form could not load. Please disable any ad blocker for this page, or reload it.
• Location (optional) — only if you ask for events near you on the For You page.
• Notifications (optional) — only if you turn on browser push in Notification Preferences.

Check-in scanner on iPhone

Organizers and door staff can install the check-in page as a home-screen web app from the check-in page itself. There is no App Store listing, because iOS offers no install prompt for web apps. In Safari press the Share button and choose Add to Home Screen. This needs iOS 16.4 or later: on earlier versions the installed app cannot use the camera, so scan from the Safari tab instead. Android and desktop Chrome show a normal install button.

• The installed scanner contains only the scanner. Signing in again, if your session ended, opens in your normal browser.
• An Android scanner app is also offered as a direct download, linked as Scanner App in the site footer.

Good to know

• Attendees do not need to install anything to show a ticket: open the ticket page or the PDF.
• The light and dark appearance follows the switch in the top bar; text size and contrast are in the accessibility settings.

Troubleshooting

• The scanner cannot use the camera after I installed it on my iPhone — check that iOS is 16.4 or later. Otherwise use the Safari tab version.
• A button does nothing or the layout looks broken — update your browser, then reload. Also try without extensions that block scripts.
• No page shows interactive content — check that JavaScript is enabled.
• The payment form does not appear — disable the ad blocker for the page or try another network.

Use Support for anything about the platform itself: your account, a payment, a technical error, or a problem that the organizer cannot solve. Questions about a specific event, such as directions, the programme or what is included, are faster to answer if you ask the organizer (see How to Contact the Organizer). Open Support Tickets in your account sidebar. You need to be signed in; guests can use the Help & Contact page.

Raise a ticket

1. Open Support Tickets and press New ticket ①.

2. Write a short Subject ①.
3. Choose a Category ②: Billing, Technical, Event, Refund or General.
4. Choose a Priority ③: Low (no rush), Medium (within a few days), High (needs attention) or Urgent (blocking issue). Pick honestly: it helps the right things get looked at first.
5. Describe the problem in the Description (up to 5,000 characters). The tips beside the form suggest what to include: your booking reference, the steps to reproduce the problem, and your browser and device.
6. Press Submit ticket ④.

Always give the booking reference (it starts with BK-) for anything about a purchase: it is how we find your order. You find it on your confirmation email and on the order in My Tickets.

Follow a ticket

• The list shows each ticket’s number, subject, status, priority and last reply. Filter it with All, Open, In progress, Waiting, Resolved or Closed.
• Open a ticket to read the conversation. Type under Add reply ② and press Send reply. New answers appear in the thread without reloading the page.
• Close ticket ① ends the conversation when you no longer need help.
• You are notified of a reply and when a ticket is marked resolved, in the bell and by email, according to your Notification Preferences (Support reply and Ticket resolved).

What the statuses mean

Status	Meaning
Open	Your ticket is in the queue and has not been answered yet.
In progress	The support team has replied and is working on it.
Waiting	On hold while the ticket waits for further information.
Resolved	The team believes the issue is dealt with. If you reply, the ticket reopens automatically.
Closed	Finished; no more replies are expected.

Good to know

• Only you, the person handling the ticket and administrators can see a ticket. It is not public.
• Replying to a resolved ticket reopens it; you do not need to open a new one.
• There is no fixed response time. A correct priority and a clear description speed things up.
• Support cannot decide a refund for an organizer’s event: the organizer decides, under their cancellation terms. See How to Get a Refund.

Troubleshooting

• My ticket has been Open for a while — it moves to In progress when someone replies. Until then it is waiting in the queue.
• I forgot something — open the ticket and add a reply with the missing information.
• It says Resolved but it is not — reply on the same ticket and it reopens.
• I cannot reach the support form — sign in first. If you cannot sign in, use the contact page.
