When ticket transfers are enabled for an event, an attendee can hand their ticket to someone else by email. This screen is your review queue for those requests.

What you can do here

  • See every transfer request for the event: who sent it, the recipient’s email, the ticket type, and its status (Pending, Accepted, Declined, Cancelled).
  • Approve or Decline any request still Pending.

How it fits together

  1. An attendee starts a transfer from their own ticket, addressed to a specific email. The system emails that person a one-time acceptance link, valid for 7 days.
  2. The recipient can accept directly from that email — they do not need you to do anything first.
  3. Approving a request here has the same effect as the recipient clicking their link: the ticket is marked transferred immediately. Use it when a recipient is having trouble with the email link, or you want to push a transfer through without waiting.
  4. Whichever happens first — your approval or the recipient’s own click — finalises the transfer; the other route then has nothing left to do.

Good to know

  • A ticket that has already been checked in cannot be transferred.
  • A ticket already mid-transfer blocks a second, overlapping request until the first is resolved or expires.
  • Declining or letting a request expire leaves the original attendee’s ticket exactly as it was — nothing is cancelled or refunded.

Troubleshooting

  • Approve/Decline buttons are missing on a row — the transfer is no longer Pending; something already resolved it (the recipient accepted, it was declined earlier, or it expired).
  • Attendee says transfers are not available on their ticket — ticket transfers must be switched on for the event first; if the setting is off, attendees never get the option to start one.
