Help articles may not be fully accurate — they can lag behind the app due to frequent updates and automated translation. If in doubt, please contact support.

EventMann provides a set of accessibility settings you can adjust yourself, alongside features built into every page. This article covers what is genuinely available today, and how to report something that is not working for you.

What you can adjust

  • High contrast mode — increases the contrast between text and background across the platform
  • Font size — a slider from small to extra-large that resizes text platform-wide
  • Reduce animations — minimizes motion effects and transitions for anyone sensitive to them
  • Screen reader optimization — adds extra ARIA labels and descriptions aimed at assistive technology

Find these under Accessibility Settings, reachable from the footer or your profile menu. Each one applies immediately after you save, and is remembered on your account so it follows you across devices once you are signed in; if you are not signed in, the choice is kept for your current browser only.

Built into the platform

  • Keyboard navigation — interactive elements are reachable and operable without a mouse; visible focus indicators show where you are
  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks — used throughout so screen readers can navigate the page structure, not just read it top to bottom
  • Labeled forms — inputs have associated labels, and validation errors are described in text next to the field, not conveyed by color alone
  • Accessible seating — organizers can mark individual seats and whole sections as wheelchair-accessible; those seats carry a wheelchair symbol on the seat map and in the seat list, and you can filter to show only accessible seats
  • Keyboard seat selection — every seat map offers a seat list of real buttons you can reach by keyboard, each announcing its section, row, price, accessibility and availability, so the pointer-only graphical map is never the only way to choose a seat

Known limitations

  • Content uploaded by event organizers — banner images, descriptions — may not always include alt text or be well structured; this depends on the organizer, not the platform.
  • Downloaded PDF tickets carry text-based content but are not fully optimized for every screen reader.
  • Any third-party widget embedded on a page (maps, payment forms) is outside EventMann's direct control and may not fully match the platform's own accessibility work.

Reporting a problem

If you hit a barrier — a control you cannot reach by keyboard, text that does not resize, anything a screen reader mishandles — use Support to raise it as a ticket, or the contact details on the Accessibility Statement page, and describe the page and what happened. Accessibility reports are treated as genuine bugs, not feature requests.

Good to know

  • Your accessibility preferences are separate from your theme preference (light/dark) on the Profile page — you can combine both freely.
  • Turning on Reduce Animations does not disable functionality, only the transition effects around it.
