On this page
My Venues is where you manage the venues on your account and, on each venue’s own page, everything specific to that space — details, zones, availability and photos.
What you can do here
- My Venues tab — a table of every venue you own: name, city, date added, capacity, and status (Active/Inactive plus, if not yet approved, the review status). View, Edit or Delete from the row.
- Browse Venues tab — search other organisers’ approved venues by name, city or country. This tab is shared with the organiser side of the platform.
- Venue detail page — capacity, timezone, status, website, description, amenities and photos, plus a summary of the zones you have defined and an availability calendar for the next months.
- Open Designer — jump straight to the zone/seat layout builder for that venue.
- Booking Requests — a button on the venue page opens that venue’s incoming requests.
How to review a venue’s availability
- Open the venue from My Venues.
- The calendar on the right highlights days with a confirmed event in violet and manually blocked days in red — use the arrows to move between months.
- Add a new block with Block Dates: a from/until date-time and an optional reason. This is the only way to mark a venue unavailable — there is no separate “open hours” setting.
- Remove a block from the Blocked Periods list once it no longer applies.
Good to know
- The Browse Venues tab is visible on a venue owner account, but requesting to book another venue is an organiser action — a venue owner account cannot submit a booking request even though the button is present.
- Deleting a venue removes its zones, seats, services, packages and availability blocks with it; there is no separate archive step, so use the Active toggle on the Edit form instead if you just want to hide it temporarily.
- The status badge shows both your own Active/Inactive toggle and, separately, the platform’s approval status — a venue needs both Active and Approved to be bookable.
Troubleshooting
- I cannot edit or delete a venue — you can only manage venues your own account created; an admin can also do this on any venue.
- Deleting a venue failed or behaved unexpectedly — check whether any of your events still reference it (this only applies if events were assigned to it directly) before retrying.
