Your Service Catalog is the list of things you actually sell — catering packages, an AV rig, a photography package. Active services are what organizers see on your public profile and what the marketplace price filters and sort options use, so this is worth getting right.

What you can do here

  • Add a service — name, category label, description, price, pricing model, and an active/inactive toggle.
  • Edit or delete a service — from the catalog grid.
  • Toggle a service active or inactive — without deleting it, useful for a service you offer seasonally.

How to add a service

  1. From Service Catalog, click Add Service.
  2. Enter a clear Service Name — this is required.
  3. Optionally set a Category label and a Description.
  4. Set a Price and choose a Pricing Model: Fixed, Per Hour, Per Day, or Quote / Custom.
  5. Leave Active checked if you want it visible right away, then save.

Settings explained

  • Category — a free-text label you choose yourself (the field suggests examples like Photography or Catering). It displays as a small badge on the service card, both in your own catalog and on your public profile. It is not the same list the marketplace's Category filter searches — that filter matches against a separate, admin-managed category system that individual services are not currently assigned to from this screen. Do not rely on this field alone to be found under a specific category filter.
  • Price — leave it blank (or zero) and your listing shows “Quote” instead of a figure, regardless of which Pricing Model you picked. If you meant to show a Fixed price and see “Quote” instead, this is almost always why.
  • Pricing Model — shown next to the price as a small label (Fixed, Per Hour, Per Day, Quote / Custom) so an organizer understands what the number means.
  • Active (visible to organizers) — unchecking this keeps the service in your own catalog but removes it from your public profile. It also drops out of the marketplace's minimum/maximum price calculation for you and out of the Price sort options, since both only ever look at active services.

Good to know

  • When an organizer assigns you to an event, they can optionally attach one of your services to that assignment. If you later delete that service, the assignment is not affected — it just stops pointing at a specific service.
  • A service with no price set still appears on your public profile; it just always reads “Quote” rather than a number, which some organizers may skip past if they are filtering by price range.
  • There is no photo upload for an individual service listing in the current catalog form, only a name, category label, description, price, and pricing model.

Troubleshooting

  • My service does not show at all on the marketplace — check two things in order: your vendor profile status must be Approved (an unapproved profile hides every service you have), and the individual service must be marked Active.
  • “Quote” shows even though I entered a Fixed price — the price field is empty or zero; the display only checks whether a price was actually entered, not which Pricing Model you chose.
  • My minimum price on the marketplace does not match my cheapest service — that figure only ever considers Active services; an inactive one, however cheap, is excluded.
