The Events page is the general-purpose listing of everything currently open for booking — use it when you want to scroll a category or a date range rather than search for something specific.

What you can do here

  • Filter by category — the dropdown lists every category that currently has at least one upcoming event.
  • Filter by date — Today, This Weekend, This Week or This Month narrows the list to events starting in that window.
  • Search box — matches against the event title, city and venue name (not the full description).
  • Combine filters — text search, category and date all apply together; clear them with the link that appears next to the search bar once any filter is active.

How results are ordered

  1. Results are sorted soonest-first by start date.
  2. Twelve events show per page, with pagination below the grid.

Good to know

  • Only events the organizer has published and made public appear here. An event has to be in the Live stage of its lifecycle (draft → scheduled → live → paused → completed/cancelled) and set to Public visibility to show up in this list, in search, or in recommendations. An organizer can also mark an event Private — it still works for anyone who has the direct link, but it will never appear in this list.
  • If an organizer pauses a live event, it disappears from Browse and Search immediately, even though the direct link still resolves for people who already have it.
  • Signing in adds a heart/save icon on each event page so you can build a wishlist — browsing itself never requires an account.

Troubleshooting

  • An event I expected to see is missing — it may not have gone live yet, may have been paused, may be set to Private, or its date filter (e.g. “This Weekend”) may not match its actual start date. Try clearing all filters first.
  • The category dropdown does not list a category I know exists — categories with zero upcoming public events are left out of the filter entirely, since selecting them would always return nothing.
  • No results at all — the empty state includes a link back to the unfiltered list; try broadening the date range before assuming there is nothing on.
