The vendor marketplace is where organizers find the businesses that help run an event — catering, photography, audio, décor, entertainment, logistics, security and marketing — and where those businesses get discovered without cold emailing every organizer in town.
Who it is for
- Vendors build a public profile (services, pricing, portfolio, reviews) once, and organizers find them through search and filters instead of the vendor having to pitch each one individually.
- Organizers (and admins) browse or search vendor profiles and send a quote request directly from a vendor’s page — no separate account or contract needed to make first contact.
What you can do here
- Search and filter — by keyword, category, specialization tag, price range and minimum star rating.
- Sort — Newest, Rating, Name, Price low to high, or Price high to low.
- Switch between grid and list view using the toggle above the results.
- Compare up to three vendors side by side — tick the checkbox on any vendor card, then open the comparison panel that appears.
- View a vendor profile — company bio, specialization tags, listed services with prices, a portfolio gallery, and published reviews with their average rating.
- Request a quote — from the sidebar on a vendor’s profile page, with a free-text message describing what you need.
How the two sides meet
- A vendor builds their profile and lists services under the vendor portal.
- An organizer finds them through the marketplace’s search/filter/compare tools, or is browsing the “For Vendors” landing page’s featured section.
- The organizer opens “Request Quote” on the vendor’s profile and sends a message; the vendor gets a notification with the message and a link back to their dashboard.
- From there, pricing, scope and booking are worked out directly between the organizer and vendor.
Good to know
- Only approved vendor profiles are listed — a new vendor profile is not searchable until it clears review.
- Requesting a quote requires being signed in as an organizer or admin. Signed-out visitors are prompted to log in; a signed-in attendee sees a message that they cannot request quotes from that account.
- Featured vendors (an admin/editorial designation) get a highlighted section at the top of the marketplace, separate from the filtered results below.
- “Starting from” prices on a vendor card reflect their lowest-priced active service, not a fixed quote — the actual cost depends on what you request.
Troubleshooting
- I do not see a Request Quote button on a vendor profile — you are either signed out (sign in first) or signed in as a role other than organizer/admin (the button is not shown for attendee accounts).
- A vendor I know is on the platform does not appear in search — their profile may still be pending approval, or your filters (price range, minimum rating, specialization) may be excluding them.
- The compare option is disabled on a card — comparison is capped at three vendors at a time; untick one before adding another.
