Ready to get tickets? This walks you through the whole journey, from opening an event to having your tickets in hand. You do not need to create an account first — most events let you check out as a guest.
Step by step
- Open the event you want and check the date, time, and venue — and the refund policy, so you know your options if your plans change.
- Choose a ticket type and quantity using the + and − buttons. Some ticket types cap how many you can buy in one order, and a type can be marked sold out, not yet on sale, or closed.
- Check for bundles, if the event has any — a bundle groups several tickets together at one set price, usually cheaper than buying them separately.
- Pick your seats, if the event has a seat map — tap an available seat to select it; seats already taken or held by someone else will not be selectable.
- Fill in your details — your name and email are always required; phone and address only appear if the organizer asks for them. If the organizer collects a name per ticket, you will see a small form for each one.
- Enter a promo code, if you have one, under “Have a promo code?” and click Apply. The saving appears in your order total right away.
- Review your total, then click Proceed to Payment (or Complete Booking if the event is free and there is nothing to pay).
- Pay by card on the next page, if the event is not free — your card details go straight into Stripe's secure payment box; EventMann never sees or stores them.
- You are done — you land on a confirmation page, and a confirmation email with your tickets follows shortly after.
Good to know
- If you picked seats, they are held for you for a short time while you finish checking out — if you take too long, someone else can take them.
- Some events use approval mode instead of taking payment right away: you submit a request, the organizer reviews it, and you only pay once it is approved.
- For a free event, no payment page appears at all — your booking confirms the moment you submit the form.
Troubleshooting
- The ticket type I want is greyed out — it is sold out, or outside its sale window (not yet open, or already closed).
- My card was declined — nothing is charged when a card fails. Check the card details and try again, or use a different card.
- I filled in the form but nothing happened when I paid — some cards need an extra bank verification step; wait for it to finish rather than closing the tab.
