On this page
Every account on EventMann — whatever role it holds — keeps the same core details on one page: Profile, reached from your avatar in the top-right corner. This article covers what lives there regardless of whether you book tickets, organize events, or run a vendor or venue account.
What you can do here
- Profile photo — upload a JPG or PNG up to 2MB, or remove your current one
- Full name — required; shown on your bookings and, for organizers, on the events you publish
- Email address — required; changing it clears your email verification, so mail that depends on a verified address pauses until you verify the new one
- Phone number — optional
- Bio — optional; for organizer accounts this is shown publicly on your events
- Timezone — a searchable list; this only changes how dates and times are displayed to you, it never changes an event's actual schedule
- Theme — light, dark, or match your system, saved instantly with no separate save step
Where the rest of account management lives
Profile is the hub, but a few things are split onto their own pages so this one stays short:
- Password and two-factor authentication — see Account Security & Two-Factor Authentication
- Active sessions — every browser currently signed into your account, with its IP address, browser, and last-active time; sign out any one of them, or all others at once, from Profile → Active Sessions
- API tokens — personal tokens for scripted or third-party access to your account, managed from Profile → API Tokens
- Language — not on this page at all; it is the flag menu in the main navigation, present on every screen. EventMann is available in many languages, and switching is immediate with no save step
Good to know
- What appears below your profile form depends on your role — an attendee sees recent bookings, an organizer sees their event totals, an admin sees platform-wide stats. The Profile fields above are the same for everyone.
- Removing your avatar deletes the stored file; there is no undo beyond uploading a new one.
- Account deletion (the Danger Zone) is covered in Account Security & Two-Factor Authentication, since it requires confirming your password.
Troubleshooting
- I changed my email and stopped getting notifications — changing your email clears verification on the account; check the new address's inbox for a verification link.
- My timezone change did not move an event's start time — that is expected. Timezone only affects how times are displayed to you; the event itself runs on its own venue timezone.
- I do not see a language option on this page — it is deliberately separate; look for the flag icon in the top navigation instead.
