Payment Methods is where you tell EventMann where an organiser should pay your earnings once a payroll period marking you paid is settled outside the app.
What you can do here
- Add a method — choose Bank Transfer, PayPal, Check, or Cash.
- Set as default — only shown next to methods that are not already the default.
- Delete — removes a method entirely, with a confirmation prompt first.
Settings explained
- Bank Transfer — requires an account holder name and an account number. A routing number is optional. Once saved, only the last 4 digits of the account number are shown on this page.
- PayPal — requires the PayPal email address you want paid to.
- Check / Cash — no extra details to fill in; these just record your preference.
Good to know
- Your first payment method is automatically set as default.
- If you delete your default method, your most recently added remaining method automatically becomes the new default.
- Bank and PayPal details are stored encrypted — the page only ever shows you a masked account number, never the full one.
- There is no edit option. To change an account number, email, or any other detail on an existing method, delete it and add a new one — there is no in-place update.
- You can have several methods of the same type at once (say, two bank accounts); only the one marked Default is what the organiser is pointed to.
Troubleshooting
- Set as Default is missing on a method — that method is already your default, so there is nothing to switch to.
- I deleted my only method by mistake — just add a new one; there is no undo, but nothing else on the platform depends on having one at every moment.
- I need to fix a typo in my account number — delete the method with the typo and add it again correctly; there is no way to edit it in place.
