Use Exports to pull your booking and revenue data out of EventMann as a CSV file, or sync it straight into Xero.
What you can do here
- Export a CSV for a date range — reference, event, date, total, platform fee, net amount, and payment gateway per confirmed booking.
- Connect Xero, then sync the same period directly into your books through their API.
- Review export history — every export you've run, with its status and a download link once it's ready.
How to run an export
- Go to Organizer → Finance → Exports.
- Set the From and To dates for the period you want.
- Click Export CSV, or, if connected, Sync Xero.
- Watch the Export History table below — a new row appears for the run.
Connecting Xero
Before you can sync, click Connect Xero to authorise EventMann against your accounting account. Once linked, the connect link is replaced by a sync button for that provider.
This is not an instant download
- Clicking Export or Sync does not immediately hand you a file. It creates a row in Export History with status Pending, then Completed (or Failed) once the data has been gathered and, for Xero, pushed through their API.
- A download link appears in the row only once a CSV export reaches Completed. Xero syncs push data directly into your books instead — there's nothing to download for those.
- Revisit the Exports page to see the current status; it does not update live on its own.
- Only confirmed, paid bookings within the period are included — pending, cancelled, and refunded orders are left out of the totals.
Troubleshooting
- “My export has said Pending for a while” — leave the page and come back; the status updates once processing finishes. A run that stays Pending unusually long, or flips to Failed, is worth retrying with a narrower date range.
- “There's no download link on my row” — Xero rows sync directly into your accounting software and never produce a file; only CSV rows do.
- “The sync buttons aren't there” — you haven't connected that provider yet; use the Connect link first.
- “My numbers don't match my payout” — the export lists bookings by the date they were placed, while payouts follow Stripe's own payout schedule; the two rarely line up 1:1 for a given date range.
