Your dashboard is the first screen you see as staff — a quick summary of what needs your attention across every event you're involved with, with links into the rest of the staff area.

What you can do here

  • Upcoming Shifts — how many shifts you're assigned to that haven't happened yet. Click View All to open My Shifts.
  • Tasks Due — how many of your assigned tasks are overdue right now.
  • Unread Messages — unread messages waiting for you across all events.
  • Active Events — how many events you're currently applied, approved, or active on.
  • The Upcoming Shifts panel lists your next few shifts with date, time, and event, and shows whether you've checked in or finished each one.
  • The Active Events panel lists the events you're attached to, each with a status tag — Applied, Approved, Rejected, or Active.

Good to know

  • If your staff profile is still pending admin approval, a yellow banner appears under the page title. It clears once an admin approves your account — that's separate from being approved to work a specific event.
  • An event shows up under Active Events as soon as you've applied to it; a rejected application still shows there with a Rejected tag rather than disappearing.

Troubleshooting

  • Upcoming Shifts shows 0 even though I applied and got approved — being approved for an event isn't the same as being on a shift. The organizer still has to assign you to one of their specific shifts before it appears here or in My Shifts.
  • Tasks Due looks lower than expected — it only counts tasks that are actually overdue, not everything assigned to you; a task due tomorrow won't show yet.
