On this page
My Tasks lists everything an organiser has assigned you to do for events you are approved or active on, grouped by event and sorted by due date — earliest first.
What you see on this screen
- Title and description — whatever the organiser wrote when creating the task.
- Due date — optional; a task without one just has no deadline shown.
- Status — every task is Pending, In Progress, or Completed. There are no priority levels, comments, or photo attachments on this screen — a task is just a title, a description, and a status.
Reading the due-date highlighting
A task is only marked overdue once its due date has fully passed — a task due today is not overdue until the day is over, so you have the whole day to still get to it. Overdue tasks get a red background and an Overdue label next to the date so they stand out among the rest.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Not started yet. Every task starts here. |
| In Progress | You have picked it up but not finished it. Useful for anything that takes a while so the organiser can see it is underway. |
| Completed | Done. Locks the row to a status badge instead of a dropdown. |
Good to know
- Tasks only exist for events where you are currently Approved or Active. If your status on an event changes, its tasks stop appearing here.
- There is no separate detail page — everything about a task, including changing its status, happens right here in the list.
- Only the event's organiser can add, edit, or remove a task. You can change its status but not its title, description, or due date.
- Tasks are grouped by event first, then sorted by due date within each event, so the thing due soonest for a given event is always at the top of its group.
