On this page
Export the people who've booked into an event as a CSV — the same list shown on Manage → Orders, filtered however you've filtered the table.
How to export
- Go to your event's Manage → Orders page.
- Apply any filters you want reflected in the file (status, ticket type, date range) — the export always matches what's currently on screen.
- Click Export CSV at the top of the page to export every matching order, or tick individual rows and use Export in the bulk-action bar to export just your selection.
- The file downloads immediately as a CSV — there is no separate CSV/Excel choice and no wait; it streams straight to your browser.
What's in the file
| Column | Contents |
|---|---|
| Reference | The booking reference |
| Name / Email / Phone | The attendee's details, or the account holder's if no separate attendee name was collected |
| Tickets | Ticket type and quantity on the order (e.g. “2x General Admission”) |
| Total | The full amount paid for the order |
| Status | The booking's status — confirmed, pending, cancelled, and so on |
| Date | When the order was placed |
| One column per checkout question | The attendee's answer, in the order your checkout questions are configured |
This is an order-level export, one row per booking — it doesn't include a separate check-in/arrived column. For live check-in status, use the Check-in screen itself.
Your responsibility once you download it
- This file contains personal data — names, emails, phone numbers, and any custom answers your checkout questions collected. Once it's on your computer, you are responsible for how it's stored, shared, and eventually deleted, under GDPR or whatever data-protection law applies to your attendees.
- EventMann anonymises old attendee records on its own retention schedule, but that only covers what stays inside the platform — it has no effect on copies you've already exported. If an attendee asks you to delete their data, you need to also delete or scrub any export you've kept.
- Avoid exporting more often, or to more places, than you actually need — every copy is another place that data has to be protected.
Good to know
- The export always reflects your current filters and the columns above — there's no way to add or remove columns.
- Checkout-question columns only appear for questions the event actually has configured; an event with none exports just the core columns.
- Financial summaries (revenue, tax, payouts) are separate from this attendee list — see Financial Exports for those.
Troubleshooting
- “The export is missing an attendee” — check your current status/date/ticket-type filters on the Orders page; the export only ever contains what's currently displayed or currently selected.
- “A checkout question column is empty for some rows” — that order was placed before the question was added, or the attendee left an optional question unanswered.
- “I need Excel format” — the file is CSV; open it directly in Excel or any spreadsheet app, which reads CSV natively.
