Revenue shares let you record how the money from an event is meant to be split among the people involved — yourself, a venue, a vendor, or another platform user — before you settle up with them.
What you can do here
- Add a share — name it, tag a recipient type (organizer, venue, vendor, or user), and set it as a percentage of ticket revenue or a fixed amount.
- Review the list — every share defined for the selected event, in the order you added them.
- Remove a share — deletes it immediately; there is no undo.
How to add a share
- Go to Organizer → Finance → Revenue Shares.
- Pick the event from the dropdown at the top — shares are defined per event, not globally.
- Fill in a name (e.g. “Venue rental split”), choose the recipient type, choose Percent or Fixed amount, and enter the value.
- Click Add Share.
Settings explained
- Share name — free text, shown only to you (e.g. “Co-organizer 30%”). It is never shown to attendees.
- Recipient type — a label (Organizer, Venue, Vendor, User) for your own bookkeeping. The form does not link the share to an actual account, so it doesn't need to match a real user record.
- Share type — Percent applies to the booking subtotal (the ticket price before EventMann's commission, Stripe's processing fee, and tax); Fixed is a flat amount per booking.
- Share value — the percentage or amount. There is no cap that stops your shares adding up to more than 100% of the subtotal, so double-check the total when you define more than one.
Good to know
- This screen defines and lists the split — it does not move money automatically. EventMann still pays your full net revenue (subtotal minus platform commission and Stripe's processing fee) into your own connected Stripe account exactly as described in Payouts. Settling the recorded share with your venue, vendor, or co-organizer is something you do yourself, outside the platform.
- Percent shares are calculated on the subtotal — the same base EventMann's own commission uses (see Understanding Fees & Pricing) — not on the final total the attendee pays, which also includes tax and any pass-through service fee.
- Shares belong to a single event. Duplicating an event does not carry its revenue shares across — add them again on the new event.
Troubleshooting
- “My co-organizer says they never received their share” — expected: this page only records the agreed split for your own reference. No transfer happens automatically; you pay them out of your own payout.
- “The event I need isn't in the dropdown” — only events you own appear here, not events where you're just a team member.
- “I deleted a share by mistake” — there is no restore; add it again with the same values.
