The Finance Overview is the account-wide summary of everything you have earned across all of your events, not a single event's numbers. Open it from Finance in the sidebar; every other Finance screen (Invoices, Expenses, Payouts, Tax Rates, Revenue Shares, Exports) sits behind the tab strip at the top of this page.
What you can do here
- Total Revenue — the sum of the total charged on every confirmed booking across all your events.
- Platform Fees — the commission EventMann has taken on those same bookings, based on your pricing plan.
- Net Revenue — Total Revenue minus Platform Fees.
- Pending Payout — the amount sitting in payout records that have not yet been marked Paid.
- Monthly Revenue chart — confirmed revenue for the last 12 months, grouped by the month each booking was paid.
- Recent Activity — the 10 most recently paid confirmed bookings, with reference, event, amount, and your net.
Good to know
- Only bookings with status
confirmedcount toward these totals. A booking that is still pending payment, or one that was later cancelled or refunded, drops out automatically — there is nothing to adjust by hand. - If you run events in more than one currency, the KPI totals are added together as raw numbers under a single currency label. Treat cross-currency totals here as directional rather than exact; Payouts groups amounts by currency instead.
- Platform Fees here is the commission only. It does not include whatever Stripe itself deducts for card processing on your connected account — that is between you and Stripe. See Understanding Fees & Pricing.
Troubleshooting
- Everything reads zero even though I have sales — your bookings are probably still
pending(awaiting payment or organizer approval) rather thanconfirmed. Check Orders for the event in question. - Pending Payout does not match what is in my bank — this figure only reflects EventMann Payout records, not what Stripe has actually deposited. Card-paid bookings settle through Stripe automatically and never create a Payout record here; see Payouts for the distinction.
- A booking I just refunded is still in Recent Activity — the list caches nothing, so refresh the page; if it still shows, confirm the refund actually completed rather than sitting in a pending state.
