How to Promote Your Event

Organizer Guide 3 min read

Help articles may not be fully accurate — they can lag behind the app due to frequent updates and automated translation. If in doubt, please contact support.

Every promotion tool in EventMann is already included with your account. There is no paid boost and no purchasable placement; the homepage and recommendations are curated by EventMann’s own team and cannot be bought or switched on for an event. This article is a map of where each tool lives, with a link to the article that explains it.

Tools for the whole organization

These are under Grow in the organizer sidebar.

  • Marketing — the overview, plus Campaigns (email to your audience), Landing Pages (a page for one campaign or partner) and Push Notifications. See Marketing.
  • Audience — the people who have booked with you.
  • Membership — sell passes, give members early access and member prices. See Memberships.
  • Social Accounts — connect your Facebook Page, Instagram Business or Creator account and LinkedIn once, so posts can be published from EventMann.

Tools for one event

Open the event and look under Marketing and Tickets & Pricing in its Manage menu.

  • Pricing & offers — the tabs Pricing Rules, Flash Sales, Bundles and Discounts. Discounts are the codes you can hand out, with a percentage or fixed amount off, a usage limit and an expiry date. See Discount Codes.
  • Promotion — SEO Settings (title, description and share image for search and social previews, see SEO Settings) and Social Marketing, where you create, schedule and track posts for your connected accounts (see Social Media Integration). AI Tools appears here too when AI is available.
  • Campaigns — email campaigns for this event’s audience.
  • Attendee comms — announcements, reminders, after-event follow-ups and email templates for the people who already booked. See Announcements and Email Templates.

A simple order of work

  1. Fill in the event page and SEO settings so links look good when shared.
  2. Connect your social accounts and schedule a few posts leading up to the event.
  3. Create a discount code for an early-bird push, and send the campaign that announces it.
  4. Keep ticket holders in the loop with reminders and announcements, and follow up after the event.

Good to know

  • AI helpers (for social posts, SEO text and discount codes) work only where an AI key is available to your account; you can add your own under Integrations → AI.

Troubleshooting

  • My event is not featured on the homepage. Featuring is chosen by EventMann; it is not a setting of your event.
  • I cannot find where to post to social media. Connect your accounts under Grow → Social Accounts first. Without a connected account you can still write drafts.
  • I do not see AI Tools. No AI key is available to your account yet.
